Job Summary:

The Clinical Data Management Team Lead will support the Data Team Lead for the study by conducting and overseeing some data management tasks, including database setup, edit check, and SAS listings development, data transfer, data tracking, data cleaning, data reconciliation, database lock, and archiving activities, data coding activities, as well as preparing and reviewing data management documentation in line with regulatory and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Management Oversight: With minimal supervision, oversee study data tracking, cleaning, reconciliation, and coding process; liaise with Data Team Lead, Data Operations Coordinator, Medical Data Reviewer, Coder, and/or Data Operations team members on a regular basis to ensure data are tracked, cleaned, reconciled, and coded in line with agreed project timelines and quality requirements. Perform data cleaning activities as required.
  2. Assistance with Data Management Activities: With close supervision, assist the Data Team Lead as required in the supervision and conduct of other data management activities (e.g., database setup, data transfer, etc.).
  3. Document Management: With close supervision, create and maintain Data Management Plans (DMP) documents. Review all other documents in the DMP.
  4. Electronic Trial Master File (eTMF) Management: With close supervision, maintain the DM folders in the eTMF.
  5. Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the Data Team Lead as required (e.g., taking meeting minutes, organizing meetings, etc.).
  6. Process Improvement: Continuously look for opportunities to improve the efficiency of tasks and quality of deliverables.
  7. Compliance: Identify compliance issues and work with functional manager(s) to ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
  8. Database Management: With close supervision, maintain internal tracking databases and systems as required.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in clinical, biological, or mathematical sciences, or a related field.
  2. Experience: Over 3 years of experience in Clinical Data Management.
  3. Language Skills: Advanced level of English.
  4. Technical Skills: Experience with Electronic Data Capture (EDC) platforms and database platforms.
  5. Soft Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, leadership, and computer skills.
  6. Problem-Solving: Ability to pay attention to detail, act independently, and with initiative to resolve problems.
  7. Relationship Building: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.
