About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Merck Gruppe - MSD Sharp & Dohme. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our clinical data management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop database structures and data warehouses to manage, extract, report, and analyze clinical data.
  • Develop and maintain SQL-PL/SQL scripts to manage and extract data from clinical databases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Develop and maintain reporting tools using SAS, Cognos, or JReview.
  • Work with clinical data management systems such as InForm, Inform Architect, and Central Designer.
  • Develop and maintain eCRF generation for site documentation and downstream regulatory compliance deliverables.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders to ensure quality report specifications and input to report development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, mathematics, science, a healthcare-related discipline, or computer science.
  • Relevant skills and experience in database development, data programming, and clinical data management.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Windows/Office software and exposure to web-based applications.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
