About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As an Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the IT infrastructure that supports our solutions at regional and sub-regional levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement IT infrastructure solutions on premise and in the cloud.
  • Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure performance, availability, and security.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, including system failures, network outages, and security incidents.
  • Participate in the deployment of infrastructure initiatives and projects at regional and sub-regional levels.
  • Help design and quote IT infrastructure solutions on public clouds and on-premise vendors.

What You'll Do:

  • Deploy and maintain IT infrastructure servers, databases, networking services, and more on AWS, Azure, and on-premise datacenters.
  • Maintain and patch operating systems, databases, and application servers.
  • Solve infrastructure incidents, including adjustments, corrective actions, and restorations.
  • Optimize performance of databases, networks, applications, and servers.
  • Perform level 2 database tasks, including backup configurations, executions, and restorations.
  • Manage user accounts and access via VPNs and troubleshoot network and connectivity issues.
  • Deploy and troubleshoot J2EE applications and partner with the application development team.
  • Manage the security of computer systems and inter-application information transfers.
  • Manage cloud or VM host environments to ensure proper tuning and sufficient capacity.
