Job Summary

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Aviation Reliability Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our aviation operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize aircraft availability.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and industry standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance personnel.
  • Develop and maintain technical publications and manuals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation Maintenance Management, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in aviation maintenance, reliability engineering, or a related field.
  • English language proficiency at the Foreign Service Institute Level R/1, or equivalent.
  • Spanish language proficiency equivalent to the Foreign Service Institute Level R/3, S/3.
  • Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) mechanic certification preferred.
  • Experience with UH-60 aircraft types or other rotor wing and fixed wing aircraft.
  • Knowledge of Colombian Aeronautica Civil, FAA, and military maintenance regulations.
  • Excellent understanding of aviation maintenance concepts and practices.
  • Proficient in data analysis techniques and tools, including statistical software and spreadsheets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
