Job Title: Aviation Reliability Coordinator

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Aviation Reliability Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our aviation maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure aircraft availability.
  • Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and industry standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance personnel.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in aviation maintenance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation Maintenance Management, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in aviation maintenance, including 2 years in a related field.
  • English language proficiency at the Foreign Service Institute Level R/1, or equivalent.
  • Spanish language proficiency equivalent to the Foreign Service Institute Level R/3, S/3.
  • Familiarity with FAA regulations and technical publications.
  • Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) mechanic certification preferred.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience with UH-60 aircraft types or other rotor wing and fixed wing aircraft.
  • Knowledge of Colombian Aeronautica Civil, FAA, and military maintenance regulations.
  • Experience with data analysis techniques and tools, such as statistical software and spreadsheets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
