About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Product Manager to lead our payments initiatives. As a key member of our product team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive strategic vision and execute key initiatives within the payments space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the engineering backlog and prioritize work based on quarterly organizational goals.
  • Improve, manage, and document payment processing processes to optimize costs, reduce loss rates, and enhance customer payment method management.
  • Explore and propose new revenue opportunities related to subscription offerings within the Sezzle ecosystem.
  • Present insights and monthly updates to drive key business decisions.
  • Use product and user behavior data to inform decisions and solve problems.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure payment processing meets expectations.
  • Adapt quickly to changes in requirements and new priorities in a dynamic work environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably in the payments or fintech industry.
  • Strong understanding of payment systems, technologies, and industry trends.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Skills
  • Data and analytics background.
  • Proficient in SQL.
  • Experience with Jira.
  • Ability to be a self-starter and take initiative to implement improvements.
