Digital Healthcare Leader

We seek a dynamic IT professional to lead the development, implementation, and management of technology solutions that support clinical and operational systems within our healthcare organization.

  • Leadership and Collaboration: Lead and develop the IT department's vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with overall objectives.
  • Technology Solutions: Provide executive leadership in the planning, implementation, and management of innovative healthcare IT solutions, including Electronic Health Records (EHR), Health Information Exchange (HIE), telemedicine platforms, and clinical data management systems.
  • Infrastructure and Security: Oversee the design, optimization, and maintenance of IT infrastructure supporting clinical systems, business operations, and patient services.
  • Compliance and Risk: Ensure all systems are compliant with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, HITECH, and other relevant standards and laws. Conduct regular audits and assessments of IT systems to ensure compliance and mitigate any potential legal or financial risks.
  • Team Management: Manage a team of IT professionals, including IT managers, system administrators, and project leads, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Mentorship and Development: Provide mentorship, training, and development opportunities to IT staff, ensuring continuous professional growth and knowledge of emerging healthcare technologies.
  • Cybersecurity: Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies to protect sensitive patient data and ensure systems are resilient against breaches, with regular risk assessments.
  • Partnerships and Collaborations: Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team to develop and execute disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Project Delivery: Lead large-scale IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring on-time delivery within budget while meeting organizational and healthcare-specific requirements.
  • Solution Delivery: Oversee vendor management for third-party IT solutions, negotiating contracts, managing service-level agreements (SLAs), and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage the annual IT budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-effective solutions that support IT needs.
  • Innovation and Adoption: Identify opportunities for technology-driven cost savings and operational efficiencies. Drive continuous innovation and the adoption of new technologies, such as AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics, to improve patient outcomes and enhance operational performance.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Partner with clinical, operational, and executive leadership teams to understand their technology needs and provide IT solutions that enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Technical Expertise: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on emerging technologies, industry trends, and IT best practices.
