About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Validation Expert to lead our Medtech Innovation Team at Medtronic. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance in our medical device development and manufacturing processes.

Job Summary

The Senior Validation Expert will be responsible for developing and implementing validation strategies, protocols, and procedures to ensure the quality and reliability of our medical devices. This role requires a deep understanding of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in medical device development and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement validation strategies, protocols, and procedures to ensure the quality and reliability of medical devices.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to conduct risk assessments, design validation, and functionality testing.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including validation reports, test plans, and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in validation, quality, or a related field in the medical device industry.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in medical device development and manufacturing.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Location

This role is based in Costa Rica, with opportunities for remote work and collaboration with global teams.
