Job: Site Reliability Engineer - Tier 2
Experience: 2-5 years (Tier 2)
Key Skills: Linux, AWS, Terraform
Required Skills:
- At least 2 years of work experience with:
- Linux, Windows, bash scripting, PowerShell, and troubleshooting skills
- We require at least one associate level cloud AWS certification
- Able to contribute through CloudFormation / Terraform
- Good knowledge of AWS in the following areas:
- Virtual machines
- Storages
- Networking components such as security groups, peering, etc.
- Encryption / decryption
- Backups
- Patching
- Managing images
- Other core services of AWS
Responsibilities:
Core duties include working in a team environment and providing support for customer's cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Cloud Security: Ensure the security and integrity of customer data by implementing best practices for data encryption, access control, and monitoring.
- Cloud Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in cloud applications and infrastructure.
- Cloud Cost Optimization: Analyze and optimize cloud resource utilization to minimize costs.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of cloud services.
