Key Responsibilities
  • Gather relevant information and data to solve quality-related problems.
  • Resolve issues by identifying and applying solutions from acquired technical experience and guided precedents.
  • Plan and lead projects by sequencing activities into realistic timelines.
  • Work effectively with all departments to develop a team atmosphere.
  • Audit, inspect, and test products to ensure they meet established requirements and standards.
Impact
  • Develop procedures, specifications, and standards for Zimmer products and processes.
  • Lead quality engineering projects from concept through design, implementation, testing, documentation, support, and maintenance.
  • Implement corrective and preventative action plans.
  • Analyze data for gauge and product evaluation.
  • Identify critical personnel, gauges, procedures, and materials needed for new products.
  • Evaluate suppliers' ability to deliver quality products.
Requirements
  • Ability to work within a team environment and build relationships with suppliers, regulatory agencies, etc.
  • Facilitate team efforts on quality engineering projects.
  • Demonstrate results orientation and deliver high-quality work.
  • Effective communication skills to convey complex ideas to multiple levels of the company.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, blueprint reading, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, QSR/ISO regulations, design assurance, FMEA, and product testing methods.
Your Background
  • Advanced English Level (C1) required.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or alternative Bachelor's degree program with certification as a quality engineer.
  • Certification as a quality engineer (e.g., CQE) or Reliability Engineer Certification (CRE) preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role or equivalent combination of education and experience.
