At TransPerfect, we're more than just a job - we're a community of innovators, problem-solvers, and collaborators. As a Localization Engineer, you'll be part of our Engineering and Quotes department, where you'll play a crucial role in the translation process from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze file formats for localization potential and assess time/material requirements for project completion
• Prepare files for translation using CAT tools and carry out Quality Assurance procedures on translated files
• Maximize technology use in production and provide technical support for the production team, sales, and other departments
• Develop and implement procedures for maximizing productivity through technology solutions
• Interface with the production team, sales, and other departments

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills (English)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Translators and IT-related degree preferred)
• Knowledge of file types (HTML/XML/Json/YML) and Regex expressions
• Knowledge of CAT and localization engineering tools
• Knowledge of Adobe Suite and other DTP tools
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment and be a team player
• Organized and motivated self-starter with a problem-solving attitude
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Flexibility with hours to accommodate project deadlines
