About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Senior Packaging Development Engineer to join our team in Cali, Colombia. As a key member of our packaging development team, you'll be responsible for leading the development and qualification of tertiary packaging associated with new product launches and cost improvements.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement tertiary packaging solutions that meet manufacturing requirements and ensure product quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and qualify packaging materials, including trade customization, artwork development, and specifications.
  • Analyze and validate technical drawings to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage Master Data Management (MDM) flows related to tertiary packaging and establish packaging requirements to achieve OEE targets.
  • Support Design-Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (D-FMEA) and Design for Manufacturability (DfM) jointly with the Packaging team.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Packaging, Engineering, or a related Science field.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in cosmetic, personal care, or related industries.
  • Experience in packaging line trials and testing, as well as exposure to different packaging technologies and work processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of tools and processes used in manufacturing, such as DfM, D-FMEA, MDM, BOM, GCC, Root Cause Analysis, Statistics, and Lean Manufacturing.
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
  • Good project management skills and ability to prioritize, initiate, and drive projects to completion.
What We Offer

Kenvue offers a competitive salary of $75,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits, including paid company holidays, paid vacation, volunteer time, and summer Fridays.
