About the Role
Cloud9 is redefining hospitality revenue management by delivering a data-driven approach to optimize pricing and maximize profitability. As the Head of Revenue Management, you will lead the strategic direction for revenue optimization, working closely with the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to align revenue strategies across Cloud9's luxury portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute revenue management strategies that align with Cloud9's overall commercial objectives.
- Implement dynamic pricing models to optimize revenue based on demand patterns, competitor analysis, and seasonal fluctuations.
- Build demand-driving revenue strategies to increase occupancy and revenue during low season.
- Monitor and manage key revenue streams, ensuring profitability across all luxury hospitality segments.
- Align revenue strategies with sales, marketing, and customer experience teams to create a seamless guest journey from acquisition to retention.
- Lead data-driven revenue forecasting and demand modeling, ensuring Cloud9 maintains market leadership in ADR, RevPAR, and occupancy rates.
- Establish a revenue forecasting system with an accuracy rate of at least 90%.
- Utilize BI tools and revenue management systems to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights.
- Partner with finance teams to ensure revenue projections align with financial planning and overall company growth objectives.
- Optimize OTA relationships, direct booking strategies, and distribution channels to ensure maximum profitability.
- Reduce reliance on OTAs by increasing direct booking conversion rates.
- Implement best practices for inventory management and rate parity across all booking platforms.
Requirements
- 10+ years in revenue management, with at least 5 years in the luxury hospitality sector.
- Strong background in alternative rentals, luxury hotels, or high-end travel accommodations.
- Proven track record in implementing revenue strategies that directly increase profitability in hospitality settings.
- Hands-on experience with revenue management software, pricing tools, and data analytics platforms.
- Strong understanding of luxury traveler behaviors, market segmentation, and high-end pricing strategies.
- Expertise in dynamic pricing models and demand forecasting.
- Strong proficiency in revenue management systems (RMS), BI analytics tools, and Excel modeling.
