Senior DevOps Engineer

Nisum, a leading global digital commerce firm based in California, is seeking an exceptional Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team. As a cloud automation expert, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's cloud strategy and ensuring seamless integration across multiple environments.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of general DevOps practices, including code deployment processes in multi-environment development and cloud migrations. They must be detail-oriented and experienced in managing offshore engineers, tracking progress, removing blockers, and using Jira as well as runbooks.
Main Responsibilities:- Integrate Observability Best Practices: Utilize AWS, Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana, CircleCI, and ArgoCD to enhance the DevOps lifecycle.
- Develop Automation Scripts and Tools: Create real-time monitoring and proactive system management scripts for swift issue resolution and SLA maintenance.
- Bridge Gaps Between Development and Operations: Advocate for observability best practices and train team members to ensure efficient collaboration.
- Continuously Innovate and Improve Observability: Stay ahead of the curve with new tools and practices within the AWS ecosystem.
To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent communication skills and be able to bridge gaps between technical teams. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to implement cloud-based solutions and drive innovation.
