PayU is a leading fintech company that provides payment and financial services to merchants and consumers in high-growth markets. As a key member of the operations team, you will play a crucial role in supporting reconciliation data management, reporting, and problem resolution.

About the Role

  • You will work closely with the Reconciliation Analyst to ensure the integrity of PayU's platform, payment methods, and bank statements.
  • Responsibilities include controlling and following up on ticket management, periodic payment method reports, chargeback identification, transactional reconciliation, and bank reconciliation.
  • You will reconcile payments to ensure the accounting system reflects the correct transactions.
  • Account reconciliations, such as bank, inventory control, clearing, billings, etc., will also be a part of your responsibilities.
  • You will prepare monthly bank reconciliation reports regarding all cash deposits to the bank(s).
  • Assisting auditors – internal and external – with documentation required for the auditors to do their job satisfactorily will be another key responsibility.
  • You will perform the reconciliation and verification of accounts regarding cash at hand and cash at bank.
  • Daily financial transactions, such as verifying, calculating, and posting accounts receivable data, will also be a part of your role.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, audit, business, or related careers.
  • High proficiency in Excel.
  • Extensive experience in reconciliations.
  • Advanced (desirable) English level. B1-B2.
  • Minimum three years of experience working in the financial area (accounting, treasury, reconciliation).
  • Good knowledge of accounting and bank reconciliation.
  • Knowledge of payment methods business.
