Project Manager - Latin America

Somewhere is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our Latin American operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Field Position Management: Plan, organize, and staff key field positions to support the Mechanical Construction Division.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with engineering, CAD, and estimating departments to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Procurement and Purchasing: Perform project buyouts of major materials, equipment, fixtures, and rough-in plumbing, piping, and sheet metal materials.
  • Project Financials and Documentation: Draft monthly billings, review and manage project job cost reports, and administer and negotiate all project change orders as required.
  • Project Management and Oversight: Establish project objectives, procedures, and performance standards within corporate policy boundaries.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in mechanical construction or related fields.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret complex documents.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and job cost reporting.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with labor management and manpower forecasting.
  • Familiarity with construction project management and financial oversight.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders.
