The International Finance Corporation seeks a highly skilled and experienced Finance Analyst to support the Latin America and Caribbean region in financial planning, budgeting, resource management, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Planning and Budgeting
- Collaborate with the Finance Officer to formulate the LAC regional budget according to work program requirements.
- Develop staffing needs projections and respective budget requirements for LAC regional offices.
- Work closely with country managers/officers and country office accountants to allocate country office budgets.
- Resource Management (including staffing, developmental assignments, and mobility benefits)
- Analyze actual staff records and planned positions in PeopleSoft.
- Ensure accurate information is reflected for unit staffing and budget forecast in BPC system.
- Support the central point for mobility benefits budgeting and execution of ceilings in the Region.
- Financial Reports, Analytics, and Business Intelligence
- Collaborate with CBA Resource Management Teams to share corporate level best practices and guidelines.
- Support the Finance Officer to prepare monthly total resources and budget reports for LAC Directors.
- Country Office Accounting and Controls Support
- Provide backup Country Office Accountant support to assigned country office.
- Review ePayables transactions and ensure compliance of the requests.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or economics with at least 4 years of working experience.
- Recognized professional accreditation (CPA, CMA, CIMA, ACCA, etc.) OR master's degree is a plus.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of accounting theory, concepts, and principles.
- Diligence and attention to details.
- Working knowledge of Imprest Accounting related SAP processes and transactions.
$62,000 - $82,000 per year
