Job Title: FP&D Business Partner

AbbVie is seeking a highly skilled FP&D Business Partner to lead planning and demand processes for Region North. The successful candidate will interact and support Finance and business operations teams to develop timely and accurate forecasts, as well as drive the monthly Actuals for clusters managed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Product Management to lead the monthly demand process and determine financial impact due to sales variances, new product roll out, etc.
  • Support the area manager in the Plan/Update/LBE/LRP and S&OP preparation processes, analytical review of related deliverables, and presentation of results to financial, business operations and senior management teams.
  • Lead in partnering with commercial cluster teams in identifying, evaluating and developing projects that require financial analysis, to ensure profitability and drive margin optimization.
  • Interact with Market Access, R&D, and Business Operations teams to address and resolve financial issues impacting the business.
  • Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights.
  • Maintain accurate financial reporting data in SAP, JDA, BPC and other financial systems.
  • Provide and generate reports to support the commercial team through information analyses and validation of operational data reports.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 - 4 years combined experience in financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, cost accounting, or auditing.
  • BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or Industrial Engineer.
  • CPA / MBA is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively present financial information to non-financial audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Fully fluent in English (written, oral and reading skills) are a priority.
  • Advanced Excel skills are a priority.
  • Work history reflecting application of analytical, problem solving, and technical skills.
  • Experience with SAP and BPC systems preferred but not required.
