Job Title: Manager GBS Non Trade Procurement

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager GBS Non Trade Procurement to join our team at adidas. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for executing tactical buying processes, analyzing mid-value tactical buys, and facilitating high-value tactical buy execution with category managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute tactical buying process, including supplier identification, negotiation, and selection
  • Analyze mid-value tactical buys and facilitate high-value tactical buy execution with category managers
  • Conduct sourcing projects, including negotiation, supplier selection, and contract management
  • Support procurement automation by continuously seeking opportunities to increase catalogue coverage
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely tendering process and negotiate PO terms and conditions
  • Close, change, or modify POs related to tactical buys and support tail spend reduction
  • Regularly analyze tactical buy activities and provide quantitative and qualitative feedback to category managers
  • Execute RfQs for potential catalogue items, including contracting based on standard contract templates

Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of sourcing execution strategies, approaches, and methods, as well as contract management and procure-to-pay processes
  • Experience in one of the following categories: IT, professional services, marketing, or facility management
  • Good ability to analyze specifications and influence demand
  • Good knowledge of selected categories, category strategy development, compliance management, and analytics
  • Knowledge of supplier management and project management
  • Ability to analyze problems and conclude decisions
  • Great communication skills and the capability to independently interact with different stakeholders
  • Action-oriented and solution-minded team player with high degree of self-management
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, spoken and written
  • Availability to work extended business hours is mandatory

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business, economics, finance, procurement, or legal, or comparable professional education
  • At least 3 years general business experience, preferably in procurement area (low to mid-level spend) in a middle-sized or large organization
