Strategic Finance Director

AltScore is seeking a seasoned Finance Director to drive financial strategy and operations. As the Finance Director, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's financial future, directly supporting the COO in driving financial performance and ensuring sustainable growth.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. You will oversee all financial activities, including financial reporting, cash flow management, and capital allocation, with a focus on optimizing profitability and supporting the company's growth objectives.
Responsibilities- Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, to provide actionable insights to the COO and executive team.
- Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain robust financial models to support strategic decision-making, including scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.
- Financial Reporting: Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital allocation to ensure the company's financial stability and support growth initiatives.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role. Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, financial modeling, and reporting is required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail, are essential. Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders effectively is also required.
