About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team at NielsenIQ. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our cutting-edge software applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop bespoke software applications using a range of technologies, including.NET Core, React, and Azure.
  • Work closely with product owners, stakeholders, and solution architects to define and plan software projects.
  • Collaborate with testers to ensure software quality and take ownership of code quality, performing tests as necessary.
  • Contribute to the development of coding standards, quality, and timescales, and provide feedback to improve the process.
  • Provide peer code reviews and take steps to rectify issues and improve code quality.
  • Provide 2nd/3rd line support as required and consult with internal and external customers.
  • Contribute to process improvement and new technology research.
  • Focus on delivering solutions that prioritize user experience and prioritize a good UX.
  • Coach and mentor other members of the team.
Requirements
  • Exceptional hands-on technical skills across the Microsoft Stack and other key technologies, including.NET Core, JavaScript/TypeScript, SCSS, GIT, XML, JSON, and Azure DevOps.
  • Ability to infer user requirements and deliver them using the most suitable technology.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, issues, and design.
  • Good understanding of data and databases.
  • Proven track record of working as part of a team to deliver software solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Thorough and detailed approach with the ability to identify appropriate user/business solutions.
  • Experience of code reviews and coding standards.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of work or equivalent professional qualification/experience.
  • Experience working with agile methodologies and using agile tools.
