Job Summary: As a Project Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial success of our construction projects. Your expertise in project-based accounting and ERP systems will enable you to manage complex financial tasks, from invoicing to budget analysis, with precision and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project-based accounting using Procore and QuickBooks Online
- Analyze and process project invoices, ensuring compliance with purchase orders
- Conduct regular cost control and budget analysis using advanced Excel techniques
- Develop and implement financial best practices to optimize project profitability
- Collaborate with project managers on financial reporting and strategic decision-making
Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, 2+ years of experience in project accounting, preferably in construction, proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel skills, working knowledge of ERP systems, Procore experience a plus, strong understanding of accounting principles in project-based environments, exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, self-motivated individual with excellent remote collaboration skills, ability to work independently while contributing to a global team, willingness to adapt to US Pacific Time Zone schedule, commitment to ongoing learning and professional development in accounting.
