We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Architect to join our team at Encora Inc. as a key member of our Data Engineering practice. Key Responsibilities
  • Data Architecture Design: Design and develop scalable, high-quality data architectures that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and collaborate with agile teams to create data solutions that drive business results.
  • Technical Expertise: Develop and deploy SSIS packages, create database objects, and develop reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize and tune data processing systems for enhanced performance and efficiency.
  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, guiding them in leveraging Big Data technologies to solve unique business challenges.
  • Project Definition: Support the early definition of projects, including scope shaping and contributing to business cases.
  • Estimation and Impact Analysis: Perform estimation and impact analysis for data-related projects.
  • Data Solution Design: Translate critical requirements into scalable data solutions, designing and implementing multiple data architectures.
  • Project Lifecycle: Guide the full data solution project lifecycle, including discovery, requirements analysis, information architecture design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Agile Delivery: Participate actively in Agile delivery team ceremonies, such as planning sessions and retrospectives.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Collaborate with data technology partners/vendors to ensure the delivery of the best-fit solutions to clients.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduates in systems, networks, or related fields with +5 years of experience.
  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience as a Data Engineer with expertise in SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and stored procedures.
  • Data Modeling: Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
  • Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is highly desirable.
  • Business Intelligence: Experience with Business Intelligence, Analytics, and reporting technologies (e.g., SSAS, PowerBI).
  • Data Architecture: In-depth experience in data modeling, database design, and architecture, with a track record of developing scalable, maintainable, high-quality databases for large-scale data analytics projects.
  • Application Capabilities: Strong knowledge of application capabilities, integration, data design methodologies, and industry best practices.
  • Communication Skills: A customer-centric approach, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • International Context: Comfortable working in an international context, within virtual teams, and interacting easily with global stakeholders.
  • Agile Delivery Framework: Experience working within an Agile delivery framework (e.g., Scrum, DSDM).
  • Leadership Skills: Leadership skills, with the ability to take a leading technical role in data/analytics projects.
  • Language Skills: Excellent English language skills.
Nice to Have
  • Additional Data Technologies: Experience with Snowflake and real-time data streaming.
  • Additional Data Tools: Knowledge of additional data technologies and tools.
