Diageo's Shared Service Center plays a critical role in supporting Diageo's Latin American markets by delivering high-quality financial, operational, and analytical services. The Financial Control Function

The Financial Control function is responsible for ensuring the completeness and integrity of financial information, which directly impacts strategic decision-making and overall business success. This team prepares detailed financial statements for both management and local reporting, ensuring compliance with the highest standards and regulations. By handling internal and external audits, the Financial Control team supports clarity and accountability across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support the month-end closing process, ensuring all financial records are complete and accurate in alignment with internal and external timelines.
  2. Provide assistance during internal and external audits by preparing vital documentation and responding to auditor inquiries to ensure compliance and clarity.
  3. Prepare and submit local statutory and management financial reports, ensuring they are accurate, timely, and in compliance with relevant regulations.
  4. Assist in the preparation and review of statutory adjustments and transfer pricing reports, maintaining adherence to regulatory standards.
  5. Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  6. Track and report key performance indicators for financial control, supporting the team in identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  7. Maintain and update financial data, ensuring it aligns with internal policies, local regulations, and IFRS standards.

Requirements

  1. Education: Degree educated and part qualified - studying for a professional financial qualification. Accounting highly desirable.
  2. Experience: 3 or more years of proven experience in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment.
  3. Language: English Professional working proficiency.
  4. Language: Portuguese highly desirable.
