The Senior System Administrator role at Kruger Inc. supports the implementation, configuration, monitoring, backup, and operations at a highly available computing environment. Key responsibilities include ensuring system performance remains optimal, reliability stays high, and updates are seamlessly integrated. Additionally, this role contributes to shaping efficient IT processes, refining maintenance approaches, and creating comprehensive policies and documentation.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage on-premises infrastructure to meet Kruger business objectives for all Kruger business units and sites.
- Implement, manage, and monitor various business and infrastructure services such as fax servers, Exchange, terminal servers, Business applications, Web services, etc. Ensure that all services are documented and backed up.
- Perform workstation and server installation and administration. Maintain user directory (AD) services and Operating System services such as file systems, filesystem replication, etc.
Requirements
- Certificate degree in Information Technology or bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of work experience in a systems administration role or equivalent.
