Biogen Market Access Manager Job Opportunity

At Biogen, we are seeking an experienced Market Access Manager to lead our affiliate's market access strategy and programs. This role is a critical part of our local Leadership Team, contributing to the overall performance of our affiliate.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing market access strategies to drive business results through added value approaches. They will engage with payers/accounts, institutions, and government stakeholders to position our portfolio effectively.

We require a deep understanding of the local healthcare system, political, and economic environment, as well as market access expertise to contribute to shaping the healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and address access barriers and healthcare policy trends, evaluating their impacts on all of Biogen's therapeutic areas.
  • Ensure market access excellence by striving for optimal pricing, reimbursement, and launch timing in collaboration with global, regional, and local cross-functional teams.
  • Identify and support key strategies to facilitate optimal market access for new products and maintain/optimize market access for existing products and pipeline.
  • Lead the Market Access team in activities such as HEOR evidences, technical dossiers, Market Access Tools, models, sales, and Pricing Strategy to support reimbursement and Market Access Strategy.
  • Build sustainable relationships and develop engagement plans with healthcare authorities, policy makers, and payers.
  • Guarantee full compliance of policies and procedures related to management and documentation of all business decisions and interactions.
Requirements:
  • Graduate/College degree in healthcare sciences, economics, business, or similar.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in high-cost diseases or a minimum of 3 years' experience in market access.
  • Experience in local markets required.
  • Deep knowledge of the healthcare system.
  • Experienced in developing payer policy and strategies.
  • Experience as people manager.
  • English proficiency.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
