About the Role

Zimmer Biomet is a global medical technology leader, and we're committed to providing mobility and renewed life to people around the world. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of various Accounts Payable tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Invoice Processing:
    • Manage and process vendor invoices accurately and on time
    • Resolve discrepancies and queries with vendors and stakeholders
    • Support internal stakeholders with the use of invoice approval tools
    • Follow up with requestors, buyers, and approvers
    • Collaborate closely with Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) teams
    • Escalate issues to management as needed
    • Work closely with IT teams during system upgrades and improvements
  • Vendor Master Data Management:
    • Validate the completeness of vendor master data documentation
    • Follow up with vendors and internal stakeholders on documentation
    • Maintain and validate vendor master data
    • Collaborate closely with sourcing teams
    • Support SOX and compliance controls
    • Provide support for projects such as integrations, annual vendor scrubbing, etc.
  • Payment Processing:
    • Process payments in accordance with guidelines and on a timely basis
    • Perform process controls and validations for completeness
    • Eliminate erroneous or duplicate payments
    • Resolve escalations with vendors and stakeholders
    • Prioritize and review payments and payment runs for final validation
    • Support SOX and compliance controls
    Requirements
    • Positive attitude, proactive, and flexible
    • Able to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles
    • Strong forward-thinking skills and good understanding of system functionalities
    • Good computer and typing skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
    • Highly motivated, self-starter willing to deliver results and meet strict deadlines
    Education and Experience
    • English proficiency is required (C1)
    • Professional degree in any related finance field
    • 5+ years of relevant work experience or combination of work experience and advanced education
    • Advanced education is a plus
    • Preferred experience in accounts payable
    • Experience with automation tools preferred
