Job Title: Senior Financial Accountant Bogotá

Rush Street Interactive is a leading online casino and sports betting company, operating in the US and Latin America. We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join our team in Bogotá.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage general ledger accounting for operational cash accounts, cash investments, and accounts payable.
  • Participate in the invoice management process to ensure accurate accounting recognition and proper approvals.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments to vendors.
  • Reconcile accounts payable balances with supplier statements.
  • Manage and execute fund transfers, monitoring cash flows to ensure sufficient funds for daily operations.
  • Prepare journal entries and monthly reconciliation reports associated with accounting month-end close.
  • Build and maintain a strong relationship with the North America Accounting department to ensure smooth month-end processes.
  • Participate in global month-end close procedures for certain Latin America entities.
  • Assist the US accounting and reporting team to complete US GAAP financial statements.
  • Contribute to the proper completion of statutory accounting and reporting for Latin American markets.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or administration.
  • 5+ years of related professional experience with accounting and treasury.
  • Fluent in both Spanish and English.
  • Experience with corporate governance and controls management, including processes and systems.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving analytical skills, with an ability to drive data analytics and make appropriate conclusions on results.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines across a variety of stakeholders.
  • Experience and a desire to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
