The Quest:

  • Allocate cost centers for all documents accurately and efficiently.
  • Analyze financial information to ensure all operations are within budget, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Assist in month-end closing, prepare and review journal entries and accounts reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Forecast future budget needs, identify variances between actual and budgeted financial results at the end of each reporting period.
  • Assist in preparation of statutory financial statements, adhering to accounting standards and policies.
  • Comply with accounting standards, policies, and procedures, maintaining the highest level of professionalism.
  • Work closely with Global FP&A and Accounting to deliver monthly financial statements in an accurate and timely manner, supporting business growth.
  • Support activities for other sites in Asia Region, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecast process, providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
  • Contribute to projects for the development of new systems and processes, formulating proposals to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Negotiate with vendors terms & prices, securing the best value for the company.
  • Prepare daily cashflow & forecast & outgoing payments in the bank system (invoices, payroll, expense reports), ensuring seamless financial management.

    The Skills:

    • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Finance or Accountant, with a strong finance background.
    • Advanced Excel knowledge, proficiency in data analysis and forecasting methods.
    • Familiarity with forecasting methods and data analysis, ability to explain budgeting and financial information in plain terms.
    • Fluent written and spoken English, with excellent communication and networking skills.
    • Experience in IFRS, ERP system implementation experience is a plus.
    • Must be able to make decisions and solve problems that are general in nature and for which there are no precedents.
    • Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily tasks, with strong analytical skills and a flair for numbers.
    • Action-orientated with the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-moving environment.
    • Highly organized, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
