The Quality Engineer (QE) plays a pivotal role within our organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design and upkeep of test automation frameworks, applying established software development practices and technologies.
- Support the creation and management of non-functional tests, including accessibility, security, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate within agile teams, actively participating in the QA role, conducting requirements analysis, and communicating effectively in English with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Execute technical QA testing tasks, such as API and database testing, while interpreting queries and understanding database relationships.
- Identify and document bugs and defects.
- Utilize project documentation to comprehend the scope, requirements, and functionalities of software products, facilitating the creation and updating of test cases for both manual and automated testing.
- Carry out manual and automated testing scenarios, scripts, and test cases.
- Maintain proactive communication with clients regarding testing activities and outcomes.
- Provide regular status updates on testing activities and results.
- Actively participate in effort estimation reviews.
- Ensure that the content and structure of testing artifacts are documented and maintained according to best practices for quality assurance automation.
- Assist in onboarding new team members.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn about emerging technologies and maintain a proactive approach to staying current with QA trends.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in English (B2+ level).
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in QA Automation development.
- Openness to learning and collaborating with new technologies, sharing knowledge within the team, and engaging in capability initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Assertive communication abilities.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of back-end and front-end technologies, functional testing.
- Experience in test case creation and execution.
- Proficient in bug tracking.
- Understanding of web services.
- Experience with ticketing and tracking systems.
- Knowledge of database infrastructure and queries.
- Proficient in API testing.
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in Java.
- Experience with Node.js.
- Familiarity with Selenium.
- Knowledge of Git or other version control systems.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with JavaScript.
- Experience with test case management tools such as Zephyr, SpiraTest, or Xray.
- ISTQB Foundation or related certification is a plus.
- Understanding of estimation processes in agile environments.
- Knowledge of risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Experience in categorizing complex scenarios for automation suitability.
- Familiarity with best practices in software development.
- Experience in mentoring team members.

- Familiarity with Cypress and Playwright.
