Talenthubb is a cutting-edge organization seeking a seasoned IT Service Management Specialist to spearhead our CMDB administration and service management processes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for configuring and maintaining our CMDB classes, attributes, and relationships to ensure accurate reflection of our IT infrastructure.

Data Management

As an IT Service Management Specialist, you will manage the data lifecycle within our CMDB, including onboarding new configuration items (CIs), data cleansing, and deactivating retired assets. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our CMDB.

Process Support

You will ensure accurate CMDB development, implementation, and maintenance to support our IT service management processes. This includes participating in change management processes to guarantee CMDB data is accurate and impacts are understood.

Discovery and Integration

Maintain the integrity of our CMDB and Discovery processes, including the ServiceNow Discovery application tool. Your expertise will be essential in generating reports and insights from our CMDB to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.

Compliance

Evaluate and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for CMDB management and data integration.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and ITOM (IT Operations Management)
  • Deep understanding of CMDB principles, processes, and best practices
  • ITIL Foundation level certification or demonstrated understanding of ITIL concepts
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze data, identify issues, and develop solutions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams
