About the Role

This key leadership position requires an individual with extensive experience in .NET/C# and 10+ years of hands-on software development expertise, as well as 5+ years of leadership experience.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in requirements verification and validation, backend definition, development, code review, and test cases.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, development teams, and customers' technical staff.
  2. Build and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant, and highly available data services ensuring the robustness of the solution.
  3. Lead, mentor, and support the development team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  4. Adhere to and propagate best practices concerning design, coding, testability, and security amongst junior engineers.
  5. Develop solutions to tackle complex business and technology problems, provide technical guidance to the backend team.
  6. Conduct technical sessions for internal teams, external partners, and customers, acting as a knowledge-sharing hub.
  7. Display a high level of initiative and drive to build exemplary solutions, setting a positive example for the team.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in software development with expertise in C#/.NET, honed in agile methodology environments.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a technical leader, demonstrating a capacity for project initiation, decomposing and explaining the solution to team members, delivery responsibility, and technically supporting a development team.
  • Solid knowledge of software design principles, best practices, and the ability to establish processes and procedures that yield deployable solutions in adherence to a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, including containers, relational and no relational databases, and cost optimization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conducting technical sessions, demonstrations, and addressing technical challenges in projects, with both internal teams and external partners/customers.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and identify solutions promptly.
