Please note: you must have at least 10+ years of experience with .NET/C# and 5+ years of leadership to be considered for this role.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

  1. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, development teams, and customers' technical staff.
  2. Build and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant, and highly available data services ensuring the robustness of the solution.
  3. Lead, mentor, and support the development team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  4. Adhere to and propagate best practices concerning design, coding, testability, and security amongst junior engineers.
  5. Develop solutions to tackle complex business and technology problems, provide technical guidance to the backend team.
  6. Conduct technical sessions for internal teams, external partners, and customers, acting as a knowledge-sharing hub.
  7. Display a high level of initiative and drive to build exemplary solutions, setting a positive example for the team.

Experience

  1. A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in software development with expertise in C#/.NET, honed in agile methodology environments. This should include a robust background in requirements verification and validation, backend definition, development, code review and utilization of test cases.
  2. At least 5 years of experience as a technical leader, demonstrating a capacity for project initiation, decomposing and explaining the solution to team members, delivery responsibility, and technically supporting a development team.
  3. Solid knowledge of software design principles, best practices, and the ability to establish processes and procedures that yield deployable solutions in adherence to a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This includes creating comprehensive documentation.
  4. 5 or more years of experience working with Microsoft Azure, including containers, relational and no relational databases, and cost optimization.
  5. Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), ensuring a seamless flow from development to deployment.
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conducting technical sessions, demonstrations, and addressing technical challenges in projects, with both internal teams and external partners/customers.
  7. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and identify solutions promptly.
  8. Experience of working across multiple time zones and with international teams is a plus.
  9. Business domain expertise in the mobile game industry and experience in Microsoft PlayFab or Unity is a plus.
  10. Problem-solving skills to support the team and client.
  11. Be flexible to change and willing to adapt to the client and team needs.
  12. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  13. Initiative and drive to do great things.
