Multimedia Journalist

We are seeking a highly skilled News Producer/Video Journalist to join our team in Bogota, Colombia. As a key member of our newsroom, you will be responsible for producing and editing high-quality video content for broadcast clients.

• Develop and produce engaging video content for news and features
• Collaborate with regional text, photo, and graphics departments to create multimedia packages
• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of news content
• Monitor social media and comply with AFP's guidelines
• Contribute to the fight against misinformation through digital verification

• Minimum two years' experience in producing short-format hard news and news feature packages
• Excellent social media skills and experience of sourcing user-generated content
• Strong news-writing skills and knowledge of current events
• Fluent in English, with Spanish and French proficiency
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet deadlines
