Multimedia Journalist

We are seeking a highly skilled Multimedia Journalist to join our team at TVZ. As a key member of our news production team, you will be responsible for creating engaging video content for our broadcast clients.

• Produce and edit high-quality video packages for broadcast clients
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of current events and news trends
• Collaborate with regional text, photo, and graphics departments to create multimedia content
• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of news content
• Monitor social media and comply with AFP's guidelines for journalists
• Contribute to the fight against misinformation by assisting in digital verification

• Minimum two years' experience in producing short-format hard news and news feature packages for web and broadcast
• Excellent social media skills and experience of sourcing user-generated content
• Strong news-writing skills and ability to work calmly under pressure
• Fluent in English, with proficiency in Spanish and French, and a good level of Portuguese
• Ability to work anti-social hours, including some weekends
