To achieve this goal, we're seeking an IT Systems Engineer who will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure. This exciting opportunity will allow you to work in a fast-paced, rapidly growing startup environment where you'll be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our software, hardware, and networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure and scalable cloud solutions for internal projects
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain, and operate software, computer systems, and cloud infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot system performance by reviewing log files, running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing the impact of issues
  • Provision, support, and maintain user workstations, user applications, and office infrastructure
  • Provide documentation and technical specifications for planning and implementing systems and infrastructure
  • Identify areas of improvement with new products, system design, or configurations to help Neostella operate more effectively
  • Monitor operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in system administration, network administration, and AWS administration
  • System administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network-related fields are a plus
  • Strong knowledge of AWS products and system design
  • Strong knowledge of systems and networking design
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools
  • A proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategy and plans
  • Strong knowledge of information security best practices for enterprise environments and cloud systems
  • Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required
