Job Overview

Pfizer is seeking a highly skilled Medical Scientific Liaison to join our team. As a Medical Scientific Liaison, you will play a critical role in cultivating relationships with healthcare professionals and providing scientific information on Pfizer's products.

Responsibilities
  • Foster collaborative relationships with opinion leaders and facilitate the exchange of unbiased scientific information between the medical community and Pfizer;
  • Provide scientific information on the latest clinical trials, highlighting the efficacy and safety of Pfizer's medicines;
  • Promote scientific information on key molecules or disease areas among targeted physicians and other healthcare professionals within an on-label context or off-label (reactively, according to KOL demand);
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with academic centers to ensure their access to current medical and scientific complex information;
  • Conduct technical presentations to health practitioners to ensure accessibility of scientific and practical product information;
  • Maintain contact with KOLs and other HCPs through face-to-face meetings, travel, or virtual meetings (webex meetings or other virtual resources) as applicable;
  • Participate in medical educational programs and disseminate technical information regarding molecules and disease concepts, identifying competitive intelligence;
  • Respond to external requests for information by sending data on products to healthcare professionals, including physicians, hospital practitioners, formulary committees, consultant pharmacists, healthcare authorities, and healthcare providers;
  • Participate and interact with healthcare professionals at local, regional, national, and international scientific meetings (when applicable);
  • Facilitate and support scientifically the projects involving external and internal customers;
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Medical Doctor (MD) Degree Required;
  • Fluency in English is required;
  • At least 1 year of Pharma Industry or Corporate Health Services experience is required;
  • Strong medical-scientific and pharmaceutical knowledge, particularly in hematology and epidemiology;
  • Proficient in Microsoft tools;
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written);
  • Effective communication of technical/scientific information;
  • Previous experience as MSL is a differentiation, but not required;
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 per year, plus benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

Work Location

This is a field-based position that requires occasional travel across the country. You will be working from a designated location, with some flexibility to work remotely.
