Role Overview

We are seeking a Digital Sales Specialist to join our team at Microsoft. As a business leader with technical expertise, you will work closely with our most important managed customers to drive digital transformation through cloud computing.

You will lead a virtual team of sales, technical, and services resources to help customers achieve their goals and exceed quarterly targets. You possess both a high EQ and executive presence, able to engage with senior decision makers to uncover digital transformation initiatives.

Your primary focus will be on developing and maintaining Azure Infrastructure expertise, identifying projects, building compelling business cases, and driving consumption projects to production.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales Execution

You will be responsible for engaging in conversations with customers to introduce new workloads and opportunities, collaborating with team members to discover new opportunities, and driving incremental revenue growth through personal campaigns or internal sources.

Scaling and Collaboration

You will collaborate with One Commercial Partner and a network of partners to cross-sell, up-sell, and co-sell, identifying and supporting the onboarding of new partners, providing feedback to OCP on partner gaps, and contributing to developing partner strategies to address gaps in partner capabilities.

Technical Expertise

You will collaborate with global black belts to analyze competitor products, solutions, and/or services, implementing strategies to position Microsoft against competitors in customer communication, proactively providing analysis of the competitive landscape in supported solution areas, and evaluating opportunities and making recommendations on pursuit or withdrawal.

Sales Excellence

You will contribute to exploring business and emerging opportunities to optimize the portfolio and support customer innovation, reviewing feedback reports and coaching others on ensuring customer/partner satisfaction, and managing and/or orchestrating sales and delivery success through the account team and pursuit team.
