Job Title: Quantitative Specialist

At Panagora Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Specialist to join our team. As a Quantitative Specialist, you will play a critical role in overseeing the quality of quantitative data collection for our evaluations, performing descriptive statistics, and conducting quantitative analysis for reports and presentations.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the quality of quantitative data collection for the evaluation.
  • Perform the descriptive statistics of the primary and secondary quantitative data, which involves tables and graphs as requested by the team leader, and those for the presentation, report, and construction of findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
  • Conduct the quantitative analysis for the reports and presentations mentioned in the deliverables, with the corresponding quantitative evidence annexes. This covers the data triangulation process and its corresponding quantitative analysis to answer each evaluation question as requested by the team leader.
  • Support the team leader in preparing reports and presentations for USAID and the implementation partner. This includes any required participation in the final presentation and report regarding the quantitative analysis.
  • Oversee the technical deliverables of the data collection firm, including the databases, dictionaries, instruments, reports, Do files, and metadata for the Development Data Library (DDL).
  • Participate and apply the qualitative data collection instruments in the field.
Requirements:
  • Professional in economics, mathematics, statistics, social sciences, and related fields.
  • Graduated degree in economics, statistics, or related fields.
  • A minimum of five years (5) of experience conducting quantitative research and analysis.
  • Experience and knowledge in designing indicators and quantitative data collection tools.
  • Demonstrated experience working with information on transparency and anti-corruption issues is desired.
  • Experience using statistical software.
  • Experience using Stata is highly desired.
  • Experience and knowledge of data analysis and data management techniques.
  • Intermediate or advanced knowledge of written and spoken English.
  • Experience with USAID evaluations is preferred but not required.
