Job Title: Senior Claims Consultant

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Claims Consultant to join our team at Jobleads-Us. As a Senior Claims Consultant, you will be responsible for managing complex claims and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage an inventory of complex claims, following company protocols to ensure timely and adequate resolution.
  • Provide professional and timely claims services, achieving quality and cycle time standards.
  • Verify coverage, set and manage timely and adequate reserves, and estimate potential claim valuation.
  • Lead investigations to determine compensability, liability, and covered damages.
  • Develop and execute claim resolution strategies, collaborating with internal and external business partners.
  • Establish and manage significant claim budgets, identifying and selecting appropriate resources.
  • Discover and address subrogation/salvage opportunities or potential fraud occurrences.
  • Achieve quality standards by effectively managing each claim to ensure company protocols are followed.

Requirements:

  • Expert knowledge of specialty insurance industry, products, policy language, coverage, and claim practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to develop collaborative working relationships.
  • Demonstrated analytical and investigative mindset, with critical thinking skills and ability to make sound business decisions.
  • Extensive experience in leading complex negotiations and developing resolution strategies.
  • Strong work ethic, with demonstrated time management, organizational skills, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to drive results by taking a proactive long-term view of business goals and objectives.

Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree, Master's degree or equivalent experience. JD preferred. Typically a minimum ten years of relevant experience. Must have or be able to obtain and maintain an Insurance Adjuster License within 90 days of hire, where applicable.
