Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team in the Finance department. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to our finance applications.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitor critical components of our systems and troubleshoot issues as necessary based on established runbooks and standard operating procedures.
  • Manage regular production start-of-business checks and periodic health checks of our applications and processes.
  • Collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including business users, development staff, and infrastructure teams, for issue resolution, user training, and query resolution.
  • Manage incident, problem, and capacity management according to organizational policies for applications in scope.

Requirements:

  1. University graduate in Information Technology.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in application support.
  3. Ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities, organize tasks, and deliver results with minimal supervision.
  4. Ability to work flexible hours, including early shifts, late shifts, weekends, and bank holidays, on a rotational basis.
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; willingness to learn and adapt to different technologies.
  6. Self-motivated, responsible, and reliable team player.
  7. Good communication skills and ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders.

Tech Skills:

  • Experience in banking/financial services supporting large applications.
  • Hands-on experience in Linux and any one RDBMS like Oracle/MSSQL.
  • Experience in production support, including managing incidents and problems.
  • Experience in disaster recovery planning and test execution.
