Job Summary

AmerisourceBergen is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst - Agent Support to join our team. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for providing support for the financial review, reporting, and analysis of Agent invoices and costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Review and Analysis: Provide support for the financial review, reporting, and analysis of Agent invoices and costs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Agent Financial Operations: Ensure all Agent expenses are reported and accounted for accurately, reviewing trends and variances of expenses and posting journal entries and costs accruals as needed.
  • Financial Reporting: Develop, coordinate, and prepare Agent and Trucking expenses for annual plan submission, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Financial Analysis and Planning: Perform sample audits of Agent invoices, identify invoicing errors, and prepare reports of findings to both Finance and Operations Management, working with the Agent Management team to resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Financial Operations and Analysis: Work with the Agent Management team to ensure timely receipt of Agent invoices, assist and support the implementation of the Agents E-invoicing Portal, and maintain Agent Audit Dashboard analysis and follow up of pending issues.
  • Financial Planning and Budgeting: Identify opportunities to reduce total Agent costs, assist with development and fulfillment of monthly and quarterly reporting as required, and generate ad hoc analysis reports as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accountancy, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of directly related and progressively responsible experience in financial analysis, financial operations, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and mathematical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
