As a global leader in revenue management software for the commercial airline industry, Kambr, an Amadeus company, is dedicated to revolutionizing how airlines optimize their revenue. Our data science department plays a vital role in this mission, leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning to develop innovative solutions that drive strategic decision-making.

Our team collaborates closely with software engineers, product managers, and business analysts to develop and implement advanced data-driven solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled data analyst to join our team and contribute to the success of our revenue management solutions.

Summary of the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and a proven track record of developing and implementing data-driven solutions. You will be responsible for designing and scaling machine learning models, building robust data pipelines, and transforming complex datasets into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions.

You will also mentor junior team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of our data science processes. Reporting to the Manager of Data Science, you will help shape Kambr's data-driven strategies, collaborate with diverse teams across Amadeus, and drive the evolution of our solutions to meet the evolving needs of the airline industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement advanced machine learning models and data analysis algorithms that drive key business outcomes and enhance our revenue management solutions.
  2. Collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, and business analysts to integrate data science innovations into our products and ensure they deliver actionable insights.
  3. Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure, ensuring high performance and reliability in processing large datasets.
  4. Mentor and guide junior data scientists, helping them grow their skills and contribute effectively to team projects.
  5. Drive impact by analyzing complex datasets to uncover trends and insights, and lead efforts to translate these findings into strategic recommendations and improvements.
  6. Interact directly with airline customers to present and introduce new data science products, troubleshoot any issues, and provide advisory services to ensure their success with our solutions.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data science projects with Kambr's strategic goals and drive continuous improvement in our solutions.

What We Offer:

We offer a highly competitive salary of $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off. About the Ideal Candidate:

We are seeking a highly skilled data analyst with a strong background in data analysis and a proven track record of developing and implementing data-driven solutions. You should have hands-on experience in designing and deploying machine learning models and data analysis algorithms, as well as expertise in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.

A strong focus on impact, creativity in problem-solving, and the ability to lead projects from conception through to deployment are essential for success in this role. You should also be a team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
