Key Responsibilities
  • Request Medical Records: Utilize platforms such as CIOX, MRO, and ChartSwap to request medical records and bills in a timely manner.
  • Direct Provider Contact: Establish relationships with medical providers to obtain records and ensure accurate status updates.
  • Follow Up with Providers: Make phone calls to medical providers to follow up on record requests and maintain open communication.
  • Client Support: Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients over the phone to navigate patient portals and access necessary medical information.
  • Data Entry and Documentation: Accurately enter and update information in our database, ensuring all records and requests are properly documented.
  • Maintain Confidentiality: Adhere to HIPAA regulations and other relevant guidelines to protect sensitive client information.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in medical records retrieval, preferably in a legal, healthcare, or insurance setting.
  • Systems Knowledge: Proficiency in using medical records request platforms and familiarity with navigating patient portals.
