- Direct Provider Contact: Establish relationships with medical providers to obtain records and ensure accurate status updates.
- Follow Up with Providers: Make phone calls to medical providers to follow up on record requests and maintain open communication.
- Client Support: Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients over the phone to navigate patient portals and access necessary medical information.
- Data Entry and Documentation: Accurately enter and update information in our database, ensuring all records and requests are properly documented.
- Maintain Confidentiality: Adhere to HIPAA regulations and other relevant guidelines to protect sensitive client information.
- Experience: Proven experience in medical records retrieval, preferably in a legal, healthcare, or insurance setting.
- Systems Knowledge: Proficiency in using medical records request platforms and familiarity with navigating patient portals.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills for speaking with medical providers and clients; excellent phone etiquette.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to handle multiple requests, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on location and experience.
