Role Overview
This position is integral to enhancing USAID/Colombia's capacity for informed program management and strategic decision-making. The role encompasses compliance with USAID's Evaluation Policy and Automated Directives System (ADS) 201, ensuring that data-driven decisions are at the forefront of program execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate comprehensive performance and context monitoring initiatives for USAID/Colombia.
- Oversee and manage all activities related to the assigned Monitoring component.
- Utilize data from the USAID MONITOR Information System and other governmental sources to generate internal and external reports.
- Facilitate the development of Data Quality Assessments (DQA) as mandated by USAID/Colombia.
- Standardize monitoring processes to align with USAID quality standards (ADS 201) for the mission and its partners.
- Provide expert support in the design and implementation of innovative monitoring methodologies, particularly in collaboration with implementing partners.
- Develop and implement guidelines and protocols to ensure best practices in monitoring.
- Support the monitoring, reporting, and analysis of mission performance indicators.
- Ensure the quality of deliverables produced by the Monitoring Component.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Chief of Party or designated representative.
