Job Description:

The Financial Lines Underwriting Specialist will be responsible for supporting the administration and portfolio development of financial lines policies for financial institutions, including BBB, IRF, D&O, FIPI, and E&O. This role requires strong technical knowledge of insurance products, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities include performing market reserving, preparing technical information for underwriters, negotiating terms and conditions with reinsurers, and managing new business opportunities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience: 8 years in an insurance or reinsurance broker or in an insurance company in the underwriting or claims area
  • Technical Knowledge: In Insurance, Reinsurance, and general insurance lines (Financial Lines BBB, IRF, D&O, FIPI, E&O)
  • Studies and/or specialties: Professional graduate in administrative, accounting, engineering, or law areas
  • Languages: Advanced level of English
  • Technological tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Office in general
