About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager Portfolio Lead to contribute to the overall success of our Technology Enablement team. As a key member of our team, you will support initiatives aimed at accelerating benefits for our customers and the bank.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver complex software projects in large organizations, ensuring successful outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the Canadian Bank Chief Operations Office and Chief Information Officers, to deploy valuable outcomes.
  • Ensure alignment between stakeholders across multiple areas of the bank, managing budget, schedule, risks, issues, reporting, and governance of projects.
  • Track and manage risks, issues, action items, and key decisions across the portfolio, escalating concerns as necessary.
  • Prepare and manage portfolio reporting for multiple stakeholders, including senior management, and ensure risks mitigation plans are in place.
  • Build and maintain solid, professional working relationships with peers and business lines, leveraging these relationships to identify issues and make recommendations.
  • Support business case creation for proposed projects, managing and consolidating artifacts and financials from all teams.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in managing and delivering complex software projects in large organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodology and budget management, with excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Certified Scrum Master certification (CSM / PSM) is an asset.
  • Expert knowledge of project management practices, disciplines, tools, and methodologies, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex initiatives, with a strong understanding of project financials and risk management.
