Key Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Gathering relevant data and information to address quality-related challenges.
- Resolving issues by leveraging technical expertise and established precedents.

Impactful Contributions
In this role, you will:
- Develop procedures, specifications, and standards for Zimmer products and processes.
- Lead quality engineering projects from conception through design, implementation, testing, documentation, support, and maintenance.
- Create and execute corrective and preventative action plans.
- Collect and analyze data for product and gauge evaluation.
- Identify essential personnel, gauges, procedures, and materials necessary for new product completion.
- Ensure suppliers have the required information and resources to deliver quality products.
- Conduct risk assessments, nonconformance investigations, change management, and collaborate with technical peers.
- Partner with Development, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance teams to support production.
Qualifications
To excel in this position, you should possess:
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to build relationships across departments and with external stakeholders.
- Experience facilitating team efforts on quality engineering projects.
- A results-oriented mindset with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, across various organizational levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, along with expertise in blueprint reading, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and understanding of QSR/ISO regulations, design assurance, FMEA, and product testing methods.
- Knowledge of statistics, process control, and process capability.
Educational Background
Candidates should have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, with certification as a quality engineer (e.g., CQE) preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
