To help our clients in their team communication efforts, we at Sitel Corp. have developed 'Oneteam', the next-gen cloud-based internal collaboration and monitoring application. Oneteam empowers every customer care agent and team lead to train, work, and communicate within the same system. In order to build reliable, highly scalable, and secure solutions and meet customers' needs, our Oneteam squad is seeking a Senior Backend Developer with a solid background in Node.js and AWS.

The position is based in one of our offices in Colombia, located in Barranquilla, Bogotá, or Cali. Partial remote work is possible, with a regular presence in our office to meet the team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain and improve our backend systems that orchestrate various parts of the product.
  2. Create out-of-the-box solutions to help resolve scaling challenges.

Main Technologies Used:

Node.js – AWS – MySQL – DynamoDB – Docker – Fargate

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 5 years of professional experience with AWS services.
  2. Fluent English, spoken and written.
  3. Familiar with: Node.js, AWS Serverless services (Lambda, Aurora, Fargate, API Gateway), MySQL/DynamoDB, Containerization (Docker + Fargate), and CloudFormation.

Nice to Have:

  1. Knowledge in Vue.js.
  2. Fluent French, spoken and written.
