Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development using Python and AWS services, focusing on building and maintaining robust REST APIs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Backend Development: Design and develop high-performance and scalable backend systems using Python.
  • AWS Integration: Deploy and manage backend services using AWS (Lambdas, Step Functions) for optimal performance and scalability.
  • API Development: Create and maintain RESTful APIs adhering to Open API standards for seamless integration between various systems.
  • Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices in software development and code reviews.
  • Testing: Implement unit tests and integration tests to ensure the reliability and performance of backend systems.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to constantly improve backend development processes.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience (5+ years) as a Backend Developer with a strong portfolio of backend systems and services.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in backend development using Python.
    • Strong understanding and experience with AWS services, specifically Lambdas and Step Functions.
    • Solid experience in creating and maintaining RESTful APIs, with a strong understanding of Open API standards.
    • Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
    • Methodologies: Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Additonal Experience: Experience with database management and designing database schemas.
  • Certifications: AWS certifications or other relevant technical certifications.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $180,000 annually, depending on experience. Additional benefits include premium healthcare, meal voucher, maternity and parental leaves, mobile services subsidy, sick pay, and life insurance.
